Annual General Meeting 2024
Southern Peninsula Basketball Association (SPBA) would like to advise all members of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association on Thursday 24th October, 2024.
This meeting is being convened in accordance with the SPBA Constitution. All members under the Constitution are invited to attend.

Minutes of 2023 AGM:
The Ordinary Business of the AGM shall be:
- to confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting and of any General Meeting held since that meeting; and
to receive from the Board reports upon the transactions of the Association during the last preceding financial year; and
to elect the Directors of the Association; and
to appoint an auditor for the forthcoming year; and
to transact any other business of which notice in writing shall have been given to the Secretary of the Association at least seven (7) days prior to the date of the meeting.
Any business members wish to be tabled at the Annual General Meeting must be received by October 17th, 2024 at 6:30pm to gm@sthpen.com.au. You will receive a reply to confirm your correspondence has been received.

Information
- There are three (3) vacancies on the BOM in accordance with the rotation prescribed by the Constitution and vacant positions.
- The SPBA BOM comprises seven (7) elected Board Members; and up to two (2) Board appointed members.
- The Board Member incumbents whose terms expire at the 2024 AGM are all entitled to stand for re-election.
- There are twelve Board Meetings per year held monthly on every last Monday of the month at Rosebud Stadium.

- SPBA is committed to providing a safe environment for all members. Successful nominations will be required to provide/undertake checks as described in the attached document.
